It is refreshing to see an intellectual as president, compared to an ignorant, low IQ dumbass like Bush, I feel like we have made some progress and although I do not think Obama will be able to accomplish much in four years, he certainly challenged the status quo.

All things considered, I think some of his ideas are a bit radical but his presidency will be always remembered as a historic event. It gives me a lot of hope for the future of this nation and it would be cool having a Hispanic president elected in 2012.

Welcome to the future, America!

Wowser. The two previous highest IQs of presidents (when measured) was Carter and Wilson. We all know how great thier presidencies were.
It does not appear as though there is a direct correlation between IQ and being a good president.

Further, Bush has an IQ of 118, which was higher than John Kerry (his supporters were calling Bush "stupid"). Obviously, 118 is a higher IQ than the American average, which is now 98. I am not a Bush fan at all, as he was way too liberal, but it is just an example of the left claiming everyone who opposes thier views is "stupid". Actually, the average IQ of registered republicans is higher than democrats.

I would prefer a president who is rational and has the promotion of education and the economy as thier primary objective. I don't care what heritage or color they are- I want them to be effective at restoring the economic might of the US. Now that would be "historic". A Hispanic president would not be "historic" in the absence of a productive term in office in which the country does well, with increased incomes, jobs, and prosperity. The "historic" shine of Obama's presidency dims as the unemployment rate rises as well as the national debt and approach to insolvency. Race is irrelevant- performance and results count.

The reason that Obama is failing is BECAUSE he is a radical. That should give cause for concern, rather than comfort. The same radical ideas and actions have resulted in all the "good" things that were and are present in Cuba, North Korea, Iran, Nazi Germany, and the USSR. When our country began, we needed "radicals" to establish a new form of government that was allowed separation from an oppressive rule. We now have the CONSTITUTION, which is a living document as relevant now as it was then. The founding fathers were brilliant and gave us a very good "map" for success and freedom. We do not need a "radical" deviating from thier well constructed plans. The arrogance and audacity that a single man or brief era knows better than the founding fathers is astounding. The basis of the constitution has provided over 200 years of prosperity. I don't think we need a radical changing the best form of government the world has seen.

I don't care "who" is President as long as they remember they work for the people, ALL people. Let's see your attitude when the U.S. becomes socialist, long food lines, tent cities.....so get off your "race" preference for President; do you know of any Hispanics qualified to even run in 2012? It's been a while since I've seen "any" race running for election that is actually qualified! Welcome to the future, America!

I also love the idea of having an intellectual President as opposed to the dumm a$$ that was in there for the last 8 years. I think that it shows his outstanding character when he admits a misstatement like he did just the other day avout the gates incident. dumbya would NEVER admit that he was wrong, even when it was very obvious. I don't care what the ethnicity or sex of the President is, as long as the person is of high quality as Pres Obama.

Wow dude, could you bring any more cliched arguments onto the table?

I couldn't give a crap what race Obama is... Obama sucks because he doesn't have a backbone and doesn't know what he is doing! The only reason the confidence level of the average American hasn't yet fallen off the charts is because the media continually inflates the administration's image. It's all smoke and mirrors.

And for the last time, Bush was not an "ignorant, low IQ dumbass"!! Come on guys, come up with some new petty attacks for Bush... this one is so flippin old now. And its completely untrue to boot. Obama can speak well, I will give you that, but that does NOT make him a man of high intelligence.

If Obama were indeed "radical", we would be OUT of iraq and afghan by now. gays and lesbians would now have the same rights as all other americans. every unqualified white person in high positions would be out on their butts in the unemployment lines, etc. imo, Obama is not liberal enough .
