Pg 30 Sec 123 of HC bill – a Government committee (good luck with that!) will decide what treatments/benefits a person may receive.
"GENERAL.—There is established a private-public advisory committee which shall be a panel of medical and other experts to be known as the Health Benefits Advisory Committee to recommend covered benefits and essential, enhanced, and premium plans."

Election - not as in voting - as in electing your HC choice.

Still, you would be ok with the government having access to your bank account - for whatever reason?

i thought this part was interesting in the health bill:
Requirement to Be Public or Non-profit-
(1) IN GENERAL- No institution may be a participating provider unless it is a public or not-for-profit institution.
(2) CONVERSION OF INVESTOR-OWNED PROVIDERS- Investor-owned providers of care opting to participate shall be required to convert to not-for-profit status.
(3) COMPENSATION FOR CONVERSION- The owners of such investor-owned providers shall be compensated for the actual appraised value of converted facilities used in the delivery of care.
(4) FUNDING- There are authorized to be appropriated from the Treasury such sums as are necessary to compensate investor-owned providers as provided for under paragraph (3).

i don't hear much about the cost of that being mentioned.

(1) should have first priority in retraining and job placement in the new system; and shall be eligible to receive two years of USNHC employment transition benefits with each year’s benefit equal to salary earned during the last 12 months of employment, but shall not exceed $100,000 per year.

so the government will eliminate private sector jobs and then supply them with government welfare for 2 years. i wonder how that plays out long term......
This is part of de-bloating hospital administration overhead, which is a huge part of the cost of our medical bills.

This is from 2004 and cites data from 1999, but --

USA wastes more on health care bureaucracy than it would cost to provide health care to all of the uninsured
