But she was clearly perturbed by those who have raised questions about her abrupt decision to leave
office, and spoke directly toward a group of individuals in the crowd who were holding up such signs as “Quit, Baby, Quit.”

That she did... I love one of the reasons she gives for quitting. Doesn't want to be a lame duck, really. It's not like she was up against a term limit...

Time magazine had a good article about her this week. Basically, she couldn't take the heat, so she got out of the kitchen.

LOL. Nope. I am a straight female who dislikes Palin because of her politics. Not because I am gay.

We really need to stop posting threads about her. As much as he she is fun to bash, she needs to go away. She will most likely not go away quieltly as she will continue to stick her face in every available media outlet. It is so obvious that she is moving on for her own benefit and not for Alaska's, although it will benefit Alaska that she is stepping down. She will continue to annoy the crap out of people that grit their teeth at the thought of her...she is like fungus.

Yes liberals, you are quite correct to obsess about Palin.

Just looking at her track record since getting involved with the PTA in Wasilla reveals an ability to gain the trust of voters and win elections that is a rare gift. She has wisely decided to strike out on her own after riding aging (therefore unelectable) Sen. McCain's sinking ship to the bottom.

Keep in mind that she also resigned the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission after less than two years only to be elected Governor in 2006. Today she is trailing BO by a staggering six points. Romney is in a dead heat but has electability issues since he is a Mormon. Look for Sarah Palin out front in 2012, that is assuming we still have free elections and Obama hasn't suspended the Constitution.
