Tape: Cop called Gates uncooperative - Race & ethnicity- msnbc.com

From day 1 just from the police report, I as well as others (Blacks in included) did not believe this was a issue of race on the woman's part that called in the Gates break-in, but of a concerned woman noticing something wrong. In the tape she clearly said hispanic but confirmed that she couldn't make out the people. Gates is not a racists but more of an Idiot who caused an issue where there wasn't one.

Grant it, we do not know word for word what occured, but these two grown MEN took a simple issue and blew it up into a national one. This is not the way to resolve this countries race issue.

What was done to this woman is truely sad,...never mind the politics of it all, but this woman did not deserve any of this. Not everything is a about black & white, I just wish everyone stop making it that way.

I would have called a locksmith; then hung out at the neighbor's until said professional arrived.

Here's what I think is hilarious:

He's a college professor and s'posed to be smart.

How in the heck did he lock himself out?
