I don't mean the C-D poster with that screen name, I'm talking about the web based "news" service. I used to always enjoy reading a lot of what their people wrote, but lately it has sucked.

It seems as though a couple of their people exist only to suck up to "Drudge" (Ben Smith) and promote Palin (Roger Simon). Smith claimed that the real reason for the increase in "birther" news last week was because Drudge put up the you-tube vid of the crazy lady in DE. Apparently Lou Dobbs making it his focus and the House putting forth a resolution had nothing to do with it.

As far as Roger Simon goes, he's become a poor man's Pat Buchanan. At least twice in the past month he's compared Palin's resigning with Bob Dole's doing so in '96, including stating that; "Bob Dole gave up his Senate seat to run for President, and the party didn't care, he won the nomination." No joke, Roger, he had already won the nomination when he resigned his seat!.

And of course there are a couple of other differences between Dole and P;

Dole served Kansas for about 30 years before "quitting". Palin 2 years as Gov.

Dole resigned just before the general election. Palin 3 1/2 years before the general and 2 1/2 before the first primary.

Not exactly the same Roger.

Anyone else finding them laughable any more?
