Congress not told about terror plan

Report links Cheney, concealed CIA program : Home: The Buffalo News (http://www.buffalonews.com/home/story/731002.html?imw=Y - broken link)

The Cheney Plan to Deploy the US Military on US Soil

Though it received very little press attention, it is not hyperbole to observe that this October 23 Memo was one of the most significant events in American politics in the last several decades, because it explicitly declared the U.S. Constitution -- the Bill of Rights -- inoperative inside the U.S., as applied to U.S. citizens. Just read what it said in arguing that neither the Fourth Amendment -- nor even the First Amendment -- can constrain what the President can do when overseeing "domestic military operations" (I wrote about that Memo when it was released last March and excerpted the most revealing and tyrannical portions: here). Here's just a small sample to convey the rancid taste of that Memo

Some people think this nutbag kept us "safe", yea, real safe. He wanted to basically have a dictatorship and had a willing stooge who would do as told (Dubya) while Dick would get John Yoo and his personal lawyer and counsel David Addington together to "interpret" the United States Constitution.

The real tragedy is not that a rightwing nutter like Darth Cheney would try and usurp the Constition, it's that so few people know or care about it.

Totally agree. Amazing that Nixon was impeached for Watergate. Compared to what the Bush/Cheney administration has perpetrated, Nixon's crime seems like a joke now.

So I'm guessing you would like to read terrorists Miranda Rights and provide them a free lawyer?

Read this, it might help clear up some of your confusion.

You couldn't be more right.... I'm so amazed at how these D bags were allowed to steal the election and no one did a thing. Even supporters of these bozo's should have been concerned at their tactics and motives. (President) Cheney is one scary dude and I hope the duo of deception are brought to justice.

Very odd. You provide a link to the very document that the Bush Crime Family determined was just a damn piece of paper. They demonstrated their disdain for it time and time again which the links I provided attest to. What was your point? You response has nothing to do with Cheney's unlawful and secretive attempt to undermine and disregard "Posse Comitatus".
