Well, studies have shown that many Americans are pretty dumb. International politics, geography, science, even your own civics... And Palin is quite demonstrably stupid. So I see no inaccuracies in what Maher is saying here.
What's good about Bill Maher is that he doesn't just think the other side is stupid.
Mahr is right Americans are stupid in comparision to other advanced Nations. Why?
Because Democrats run the decrepid public school system. and no I am not saying Republicans would be any better. It is time Americans are given a choice of where to send their children for the best education possible.
Republicans want school choice. How would that not be better? The left have minorities exactly where they want them. Segregated, down and voting democrat.

There is nothing good about Bill Mahr. He is another Hollywood pseudointellectual lemming leader with about as much intelligence as a book case.
Bill Maher is telling the truth. There are a good number of Americans who are stupid and Sarah Palin is among them. Instead of focusing on issues that are important to them like health care, education, infrastructure, the economy, the environment, they are played like fools and distracted with stuff like government taking their guns, abortion, gays getting married, the president not being a real citizen, when the evidence clearly shows that he is, and now the latest made up conversation, the government is going to kill the elderly with a healthcare option that offers an OPTIONAL public plan.
It is even scarier how someone like Palin came as close as she did to becoming the VP or even worse, president!

That is pretty condescending, I would have corrected him. Unless of course your son is already on the correct path of conservative thought, in which case he is not correct but I understand his statement. Liberalism is a mental disorder. There is a lack of function that inhibits the brain from making choices and assemly of ideas correctly. Example one looks at the death of an infant and equates it with a reasonable choice made on behalf of a reasonable person. A myriad of things but this is the classic best example of errant thinking. Thinking that is generally, so far as I know, not acceptable in any of the animal kngdom, well hogs maybe ,they will eat their young. Humans however, have "evolved" in the eyes of some to make that an acceptable behavior pattern. A state of the human condition that is cynical, laughable, pitiful.
Well, she deserves it, and a good number of Americans are... so what's your beef?
