American's Stupid? There is no doubt about it.

As for the French , F. Scott Fitzgerald's following quote answers it best:

"The best of America drifts to Paris. The American in Paris is the best American. It is more fun for an intelligent person to live in an intelligent country. France has the only two things toward which we drift as we grow older—intelligence and good manners."

I don't agree with everything he says and he can be overly cynical, but I like Bill Maher and I enjoy his show (hopefully, that isn't considered a crime by some of you?).

Does anyone pay attention to what Bill Maher thinks? He's like the little muttering guy on the subway that everyone just walks by but no one pays him any attention.
