But the same poster has in other threads praise the merits of opinions by Palin, Beck, Hannity, O'Reilly etc. Most of whom have "NO educational background in law, and NO educational background in politics!"

The hypocrisy was to blatant not to point out.
Aha, understood

Look what it did for GWB. After 2004, it was pretty clear that the Iraq war wasn't going well, and it was clear in the news. He didn't change his strategy until 2007.
People believe what the MSM tells them. Fear and panic sells news.
The MSM is their bible. Just a look at some posts here can tell you that people don't even understand how the government works or the job of each branch of the government yet they have their "facts" from the MSM sites.

Both the administration and the media know this and play it to the hilt to sway public sentiment. Fear drives policy changes.
I mean this for both parties..each knows how to play up the fear to the press for their own benefit.

He is ugly enough to assume that he is intellectually superior to the majority
.

The Majority of people in this country, 80% actually are on an intellectual level appropriate to 5th graders, so it does not take much to be intellectually superior to the majority.

If you google "pompous ass," Maher's pic should come up. It's bad enough to be such a circus clown, but even worse to be proud of it.

PS this isn't about being liberal or conservative or whatever. There are such people on both "sides." He's just an ass in the extreme, period.

Where did you learn this statistic? I think that maybe you need to offer those of us who you think are in that 80% (unliberals) where you found that. I tried some search engines using liberal type prompts and just couldn't find that number anywhere.

I think that I once had a IQ very near that of Bill Maher but I am so old that I may have lost some since it was measured. I have never seen a 5th grader that could outdo me, but surely there is one or two.

Link, please unless you just threw that number at us.

It's amazing that a country that is full of so many "idiots" has created the greatest nation ever to have existed, isn't it? We have more freedoms, more rights, more of everything than any other place on earth. So much so no one wants to move away and we are fighting off people from moving here.

Default Glenn Beck says----

Bill Maher: You are stupid

Bill Maher was up to his old tricks again, calling the American people stupid and saying they just don't understand the issues. Perhaps Maher doesn't realize that he is also (allegedly) an American, which would mean he just called himself stupid. The point is this is what progressives believe. You are incapable of making decisions on your own. Glenn plays the audio and reacts on radio today. ( Transcript, Insider Audio)
