Perhaps, they're finally getting around to polling non-mainstream Gay People and asking their opinions. I'm sure the heterosexual crowd automatically concludes that all Gay people are in support of Gay marriage. Wrong!
I'm Gay, and stand totally opposed to it! And I have Gay friends who are equally opposed to it.
In fact, I stand in opposition to the whole idea of marriage.

That's nice, but I would say that if you don't like marriage, then don't get married. You don't need to restrict others from doing it just because you don't like it.
If it were suddenly illegal for heterosexuals to marry someone of the opposite sex, I think they'd be a little miffed too.
It's not that simple. For example, the definition of "marriage" would have to be changed first. Also, a majority of Americans view homosexual marriage as out of the norm. Just look at what happened in CA, where most voters are Democrat and also voted For Obama. However, the same voters voted to restrict same sex marriage.
Staging homosexual kisses in front of a church is not going to change the minds of the churchgoers, but make them more upset, which in turn translates to more support for the church.

And you aren't alone. Some even call Michael Savage to tell their side of the story.
I think this is a simple situation of where people don't like the idea of homosexuality. Hell, I think its weird for two men to be together, but I'm sure they look at me weird for being with a woman.
I think people have a deep misunderstanding of homosexuals, what their lives are like, and who they are as people. Now that people are seeing that there are others out there that feel "weird" about homosexuals, they think its ok to feel that way.
I've always felt that gay marriage is a civil rights issue. The Federal government has no right, none whatsoever to tell someone they can't be married. If they really want to do it right, the government won't marry anyone, just give out civil unions. If you want to get married, go to a church, and there are churches that will marry homosexual partners.

That makes absolutely no sense, it would have been like a black slave being pro-slavery? I guess then you are against gays also having equal rights under the law in general (ie: insurance benefits, decision making for "partner", etc.)
