A 78-year-old Carroll woman says she's so tired of seeing President Barack Obama on the airwaves that she's selling her television sets - two of them.
Deloris Nissen, a retired nurses' aide and former Kmart employee who was raised on a farm near Audubon, placed a classified advertisement with The Daily Times Herald for Friday's paper.
In the $5.50 ad, Nissen tells readers she has two television sets for sale. The reason: "Obama on every channel and station."

You know how some older folks are with electronic stuff, she couldn't figure out how to either turn the channel or turn it off so she has to sell it!
EXcuuuuse me....but some of us "older folks' do just fine with electronics.
Being a Republican, she probably couldn't figure out how to turn it off. She HAS a NEW flat screen TV and being a righty she thinks it'll have different shows on...LOLOLOL!!!!

I was just jokin' thinking about my own mother who could not figure out how to program the dang remote or an old boss that would yell for me to come help her figure out the most simple of electronic tasks. Anyone posting HERE can figure out electronics and all that jazz just fine...
This seems smart to advertise a television in a newspaper. This lady probably knows that the same zombies who find their news and entertainment at the six-grade reading level found in a newspaper also love the mind-numbing abilities of television. This is a bit like advertising a lawn mowing job on a Home Depot bulletin board.
