Smart move on his part. Even smarter would be for him to not say a word, drink the beer, let the lawyer and union rep do the talking, and walk away when the beer is finished. Why bother talking with two racist. Obama spent so much time apologizing for America, when will he apologize for his own behavior?

No, this would be neurotic, stupid, babyish and unbecoming to a gentleman.

No, it would be a smart thing to do. Here you have two men who've made up stuff about you and are loved by the press to the point that their every statement is presented as fact before ever hearing the opposing point of view. Any word you say can be twisted by these two and the press will eagerly report whatever Obama and his campaign contributor will say about you. Just drink your beer, keep your mouth shut, and walk away.
I'm anxious to see if Obama's apology tour ended in Russia. It would actually make me happy to hear that he no longer feels the need to apologize (although this is the one situation in which he actually SHOULD apologize).

"...and keep your mind closed."
Why would you deny him the opportunity to express himself, describe his point of view and talk about his actions, and listen to the other two do the same? Why would you deny them the chance to see common ground, admit mistakes, point out where the other guy went wrong, and laugh and shake hands? Why keep people antagonistic?
They're three men, and Americans together, before they're anything else, sailordave.
