The left has been trying to allow terrorist suspect to be allowed rights of US citizens from day one and I still have no idea why. At first it was just Bush hatred but they keep chipping away all they can. I guess they think if we are nice to these fuggers they will be all adoring and love us back?? How does one prosecute a terrorist caught on the battlefield? Call timeout and put up a police tape and search for evidence? Its all ridiculous.

I miss Bush. I don't always like what he did, but one thing for sure, I took a certain comfort knowing he had the best interests of this country at heart.

The more I try to understand the actions of this administration the less I get it. Why do they want to weaken this country? Why did you people vote for him?
Bush was a patriot..while Holder and BHO are America haters...

He gave up his rights when he was convicted. Up until then, Reid, like anyone else on U.S. soil, was fully protected by all facets of the Constitution and BOR.

If you go to Canada, Mexico, or stroll across the U.N. Plaza, those rights no longer apply.

While I agree with the notion that this clown should be treated as any other pest, I have some reservations about removing his rights to a fair trial. If we remove fundamental rights from someone else they can also be removed from each of us. This man ids a convicted felon and, AFAIK, felons only have the rights allowed to them by the courts and no more. This man should remain in custody because, if allowed parole, he would be a danger to the public.

It doesn't necessarily have to be prison justice. Sometimes, letting 'em out of prison is a much worse punishment.
