The Swift Boat Lies were unconscionable and no one involved should ever be trusted again.

It's right on topic. If you cant understand why someone might stand up for his principles instead of going along to get along, why Franken would be so rude as to to express his revulsion over the Swift Boat ads -- and I guess you cant, since your post was about "it had nothing to do with him" -- then, well, Im sorry you cant, that's all.

Do you think that's why the people of MN elected him?
To right the percieved wrongs in old campaign ads?

You have some mighty low expectations and an amatuer like Franken thrives on them.

Can you expalin how Frankens behaviour is purposeful to the needs of his constituents and country?
Pickens has a credibility issue because of his past behavior, and when one is involved in policy issues, his/her credibility is always fair game, as many of the threads in this forums attest.

Too bad this isn't about Pickens, but rather Franken squandering the time of the taxpayers with a vendetta.

Then perhaps you should leave it to the people of Minnesota to determine if Franken is wasting the time of taxpayers.
