this lie is easily discredited by my first post in this thread.
in the original thread about this, i and several other "left wing wackos" expressed doubt about the rumor before it was proven false. several people (including me) also said if it was true it was not any kind of poor reflection on palin. the "liberal media" did not even report the story. but feel free to continue to ignore the reality that the other side of the political spectrum are humans and keep shadowboxing cartoon stereotypes. that seems to be pretty common on both sides on this forum.
i'm still waiting to hear how exactly this rumor is damaging to the palins. it was easily disproven and would be nothing but a blip if palin and the rest of the right wasn't flipping out over it like it was the biggest deal in the world. if the person who started this had malicious intent they didn't pick a good rumor to start. it's quite possible that they just jumped to a stupid conclusion or were lied to by someone else.
and the person who started the rumor shouldn't be around young children? hysterical much? if every blogger who said something untrue on their blog got fired, we'd have a blogger unemployment crisis!
oh and i mentioned in the other thread that maybe we should start a "divorcer" movement - sure they SAY they're not getting divorced, but why haven't they released their marriage license? what are they hiding??

now mind you i'm not claiming palin did that. i have no idea if she did. it just seems like a possibility given the harmlessness and randomness of the rumor, and the way it gives her the opportunity to cry about media persecution once again (although, again, i don't think any reputable media sources took the bait).

right. on saturday, the palin-bashers here were screeching that this rumor just had to be true, since palin hadn't disclaimed it.

btw- it may have started on a blog that 'no one reads,' yet it spread with lightning speed to the daily kossack/huffpo, which are read by large numbers of liberal feebs.
The marriage is most likely stressed but they are probably going to stay legally married in order to promote Sarah's political ambitions.
