Developing a nuclear capacity sems to be an effective way of keeping our Empire off your back. More countries need to do this and we need to drop our expensive pretense of being the world's cop.
From 2003 smart wonder, you can blame Bush for that. I love how people blame the party they oppose for everything even if it is not possible for them to have done it. You might as well blame the people you hate for Vietnam.
When is everyone going to understand that Iranian possession of nuclear weapons is simply a plane flight from Pyongyang away?
All the "experts" tell us Iran can't produce a deliverable weapon for X number of years, yet at the same time, Iranian/Syrian/NK joint ventures in nuclear and missle technology is well known and documented. So is the involvement of the Russians and Chinese.
See? It's a shell game, a con designed not to keep Iran from getting nukes, but to keep the dollars flowing for preparedness and to keep everything in turmoil.
Iran WILL get a deliverable nuclear weapon, if they don't have one already. I suspect they do and somebody on our side knows it.
