He was campaigning on Health Care Reform... what were those insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies and health care providers thinking? They missed what he was saying when they contributed?
No guarantees when you contribute... unless again, you're saying the Republicans are beholdin' to the insurance companies wishes since they took money from them.
useless.. Seems you think being a hypocrit thief is just fine. Hate to be you. Anything for a buck eh?
Regardless of your personal opinions of Keith Olbermann and/or MSNBC, the factual information he outlined in his Special Comment tonight cannot be disputed. He discussed how GOP and Blue Dog Dems are legislating in the best interests of corporate entities within the healthcare/health insurance/Big Pharma industries, and not in the best interests of their respective constituents, due to the fact that they each receive substantial financial contributions from said health-related industries.

Oh, for the love...
Obama isn't a thief. He didn't steal anything. He's certainly not being a hypocrit. He's doing exactly what he promised he would do.
Contributions were given to him (not stolen by him), but he is doing what he thinks is right and what he promised he'd do,despitethe fact that he may lose contributions from the same entities during the next campaign. If the insurance companies are stupid enough to contribute so much money to a candidate who was publicly (not to mention, loudly and constantly) advocating the institution of a program that would probably not be in the best interests of said insurance companies, it's their own fault. The fact of the matter is they thought they could buy Obama off like they've managed to buy off the Republican and Blue Dog Democrat legislators, but they were clearly wrong.
Furthermore, your incessant harping is actually proving Olbermann's/my/Dems' point even more:
Obama accepted contributions from healthcare insurance companies, but is still advocating legislation that would not be in the best interest of said insurance companies, because it's what he promised voters he would do. It's what he promised the American people he would do. It's what he knows is the right thing to do.
On the other hand, Republican and Blue Dog Dem legislators also took huge contributions from healthcare insurance companies and Big Pharma, and as such, are clearly representing the insurance companies/Big Pharma, instead of the constituencies who elected them.
Regarding these Republican and Blue Dogs, yeah I guess you're right....anything for a buck.
