Those who have read many of my post would know that but since you haven't (and why should you have?) then I don't blame you for leaping to that conclusion. So I make it very clear. I do NOT equate neo cons with conservatives.
How are the neocons destroying the country when the democrats have the majority in the House, Senate, and there is a deomcratic President? How are neocons destroying the country when the epicenter for the recession was the housing market, linked over and over to the Fannie/Freddie debacle, headed by Barney Frank and company? GOP is a non issue. Neocons are a non issue. Conservatives are a non issue. The right has proposed plans and ideas regarding the stimulus, cap and trade, and healthcare which have been disregarded by the left, if not left out of the legislative drafting process altogether. Abortion is legal. Society is more tolerant to "alternative lifestyles." Any simple display of the Nativity scene during Christmas or a cross during Easter causes a huge backlash from the left. We aren't drilling off our own land, we're shipping all those nasty, environmentally hazardous manufacturing jobs overseas, and we're being diplomatic and nice with Hamas and the Taliban.
From what I can see, neocons don't have the power to do anything but disagree with the liberal agenda, and if that threatens you, then that sounds like a personal issue. When the left demostrates by chaining themselves to trees and splattering blood on animals to protest meat eaters or whatever, it's progressive. Well if we are going to have tax breaks maybe you can ask the government not to spend more then they have. Then next remove the income tax on EVERYONE but I guess that would go against your idea of "fair" By the way everyone got tax breaks some just got bigger ones because they make more money. But lets not pretend like funding the government should be anyone's burden when the government is burdening all of us with its spending and flawed actions. Tax breaks or not 11 trillion in debt means we might want to look at who is spending not who is getting a tax break.

Didnt clinton lower the capital gains tax increasing the revenue and that was in a sense a tax break for the rich. It does help to have dot coms expanding the work force and stock market. But then again republicans did run the congress and set all the bills and laws for Clinton to sign. hmmmmm

Maybe they didn't get the memo - the Dems are driving the bus, and have held the majority in Congress since the 2006 elections. So why are they so unhappy with how things are going? And what are they complaining about? I thought they wanted it this way - this is what they've been voting for since 2006.
