I've got a job! Well, it's not actually a "job", more of a part time, "casual" gig. When I was contacted I thought it might be something like setting up meeting/banquet rooms at a hotel. But no, it's much better.

I'm getting PAID by former House Majority Leader Dick Armey (R/TX) to go around and protest at various congressional "town hall meetings". Sweet. All I had to do was agree to the following to get hired on:

I (print your name) agree that I have no morals, no ability to think for myself and will do anything I'm told by those paying me. I have no compuntion about lying, and generally making an a**-hole of myself.

(Or I could just sign the following statement)

I (print your name) swear that I am a member of the Republican party.

Now if I could just get them to pay me to post ridiculous right wing propaganda on various forums I'd be making real dough.

Somehow the right can't address the ideas I wrote, that the right wing lobbyists are behind the "grass roots protests". Instead they have to result to PERSONAL INSULTS that would get Dukester or me flagged.


Actually I should have started a thread titled "many C-D posters getting hired on part time jobs". I turned it down because I couldn't in good conscience sign either statement. Unlike viewfromthepeak (where the thin air is getting to her) who CAN'T READ.
