That's where you want to go with this? To a right-wing extremist group that orchestrated the killing of over 6 million people?

No, Oz. It's not kind of like that.

And, while not perfect, many European countries have found a comfortable balance between markets and governments in a way that has led to pretty high quality of life. Even many of the wealthiest communities in the U.S. rely on regulation and government oversight to protect the value of their town.

I'm not saying it's right or wrong and I'm not saying we should become like Europe, but the charge that all government is bad and all business is good is a little simplistic, no?

3. One who supports Barack Obama and yet knows
very little or nothing about Obama the man and politician; his history, accomplishments and challenges beyond repeating Obama Camp talking points and/or slogans.

4. An Obamabot typically can't define, explain or defend Obama's policies. If an Obamabot is pursued or confronted about his or her seeming blind loyalty and lack of knowledge, he or she will typically launch a 'counter attack' (to a perceived attack) and accuse those who differ as racist, ignorant, hateful, etc. and/or will become resentful, indignant,
insulting, and even threatening (in cases which are most extreme).

Maybe a few around this site. Make that a few 100.
I have yet to meet an Obama supporter in my private life who can explain any of his policies in detail, who knows anything about the documented track record for the failure of liberal economics, or who can concisely explain why they support him other than they want "change". I wouldn't be surprised if 95% of all his supporters between the ages of 18-30 fall into this category.

What do we call those that blame Obama for all of the country's ills and proclaim things about him that are not true (ie. Obama wasn't born in the U.S., Obama is a Muslim, Obama is going to take away all of your guns, etc...) ???

Pot, meet kettle as far as actually reading and witnessing what Obama actually IS and what he's actually DOING....

Perhaps both sides could stand to do a LOT more research before another thread is posted about Obama here, eh???

I'm game.... I haven't posted ONE thread in this forum specifically trumping up Obama about anything. I just respond to the tripe that some of you post.

Looks to me like this thread has only one purpose... to stir up trouble and badmouth fellow posters.
