Thanks to some careful (and admittedly lucky) timing moving out of then back into the markets, mine already is. As good news about the economy begins to build I'm expected to see my balances really take off.

Nope, the DOW is up and BO is in the White House therefore BO made the DOW go up.

Sorry, Folks, The CRA Really Did Require Crap Lending Standards

May I recommend more ice, more mix, stir.

It had nothing to do with Obama, it was, um, Sarah Palin, yeah, thats it. I know the last 6 months of poor economic stuff was Obama, but when things go better, it has to be a Republican that did it. *sense the sarcasm*

While good news, I wouldn't place bets yet on market recovery. This is already one of the longest recessions in history, now approaching almost two years. I expect it to go down a bit again.

And if I'd listened to folks like you (instead of my own common sense) I'd be $!00,000+ worse off.

Fortunately I was smarter than that.

You are letting your political bias' cloud your financial judgement - not a very wise move.

It's coming. It just needs time. As the stimulus funds kick in they will jump start the economy - transforming what might otherwise be a lackluster recovery into a substantial one. It won't happen overnight, but it WILL happen. This time next year total unemployment will be dropping substantially.

Jobs are the first thing to go, and the last things to come back. Give it time.

It is all one big giant crap shoot. Some win and some lose. If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen. Congrats on your success, now if you think it was smarts rather than good fortune you have been set up for disappointment. Good luck and good trading.
