You mean like they did with Torecelli?

No, he can resign and the Lt. Governor would step in, the election would still go forward.

But I am convinced a number of people who voted for Obama were actually voting in protest to the Bush years and Bush, like McCain, were not republicans.

It is still a long way from the 2010 mid term elections but I think democrats will be absolutely stunned.

I agree. I would have never voted for a Republican in the last election. I thought the needed to be taught a lesson for spending like Democrats. When I saw the people reacting to hussein obama like the people of Germany reacting to Hitler, I held my nose and voted for McCain. I think others were so mad at Bush they voted for hussein obama. Many of those people are not walking up to the mistake they made.

Reps to you!

"needed to be taught a lesson" indeed. Not just for wild out of control spending but everything they did, for all the conservative values they trampled underfoot.

I voted McCain as I have voted republican in every election since 1972 but I came real close to voting Obama just so the idiots at the RNC would get a message.

And then they pushed McCain on us? McCain stands for nothing he's a puke in my mind. A disgusting little man who abandoned his wounded first wife to marry some real rich babe...... read the story of this mans morals and puke. No morality at all and don't give me the garbage about being a POW either that was long ago and millions of others of us went to Vietnam too. Like he had a choice?

But I am afraid for the 2012 election, afraid for what putrid carcass the republicans will dig up to run against Obama? Maybe the mummified body of Albert Dewey?

McCain... pfftttttttt!

Are they ACORNing people in NJ and VA? Any signs of intimidation to vote against the Republican candidates?

We must send a LOUD and CLEAR message to the Republicans they better not send us a RINO to vote for. My worry is that hussein obama will be so hated by the next election that the Republicans will be able to put up anyone and win.

The definition of a "RINO" - any Republican who loses an election or disgraces himself or herself in office.

A successful Republican can never be a "RINO", regardless of their views.

You are so wrong! Republican in Name Only which means they support the issues of Demoncrats and we all know it doesn't get worse than that.

Most Americans do not support either party on every single issue. Anyone who does isn't really thinking for themselves.

I have enormous respect for politicians who deviate from their party lines.

The people you like to call "RINO's" still generally vote with the Republicans about 70%-80% of the time. They support Republican policies more than Democratic ones.
