I don't like the debt thats added, but when the economy is going bad, thats the time to go into debt.

In 4 or 8 years, when we'll probably have a Republican President, and things are going well, I want YOU to tell that President to raise taxes to pay down the national debt. See how quickly that happens.

you don't pile on debt when you are in debt, because more debt does not get you out of debt.

the smart thing that americans are doing, without the help of the president, is saving their money which reduces the national deficit all by itself. if that money eventually resurfaces into small business growth it will help this country out of the recession, instead of having it funneled back into the government, where it generates zero growth. government sucks money from the system and does not put money into the system. that is why government has the federal reserve printing machine ready to go!

i suggest that we march out of the wars. we marched in and we can march back out and let them handle their own internal conflicts. we could take the profit factor out of the war and utilize the money in our own country. also, what we should do is put our troops on the border and protect our OWN country for a change.

Can you name a war that didnt financially profit someone?

We have to get out responsibly.

Troops on the border, this is something the US and Mexico wink at....obviously both countries LIKE it the way it is or we'd do something serious about it.

just because both governments like it doesn't mean the citizens like it. i think that citizens are starting to see that they have very little influence in what the government choses to do or not do.
