Given that the details of what happened have not been released, it's a little early to call it a mistake or to call it genius. Either way, I'm glad they're coming home.

Frankly, think about how petty Kim is. He holds grudges. He takes offense at the slightest thing. Then think back to the end of Clinton's tenure. When a trip to N Korea was planned to seal the deal on the nuclear armaments issue. And Clinton cancels due to political problems on the home front.

Bush and N Korea were at each others' throats for most of the eight years. Obama takes over. N Korea takes hostages, essentially. Won't talk to Obama. Won't talk to Hillary. Wants Bill. Gets the long awaited Presidential visit, and get an apology from Bill. Voila, hostages released.

Kim is not the stablest of individuals, and he has absolute power. The power to indulge his vindictive whims.

Maybe Bolton didn't get the memo but there is a new Sheriff in Town. The Repugs are no longer in power...

Who cares what this BOZO thinks? Think he could have gotten them out? Bush?

Two Americans are now free and these CLOWNS know they could not have done it. In fact they would be more happy turning their backs on Americans rather than do anything about it.

Another stellar response that doesn't even warrant a reply.

Look all I'm saying is that diplomacy failed AGAIN!

Maybe next time people will hold the war drums when a country does something we don't expect in hopes of a diplomatic victory.

For a long time, all your side ever cared about was the ones being killed in Iraq. You yearned for the coffin photos, remember?

Now you want to ignore the ones being killed in Afghanistan.

So put a cork in it.
