People are being bused in to start angry protests, many coming close to violence, and is not discussion even in the least. Discussion is the listen to the ideas and thoughts of the other person as well as expressing your own. These are not the people who actually live there. The people who actually live in the area are being intimidated by these paid protesters trying to drown out the discussion by volume.

...But they don't just leave. They leave with a very uncomfortable feeling that their job is danger if they vote for this monstrosity bill. And that is the goal...vote the way we want ( actually represent us) or go to the back of the unemployment line with the 8 million.
So you're saying that your goal is intimidation. You are playing the bully and proud of it?

And you realize that your actions also affect the other people who've attended these town meetings, who might legitimately have questions they want to ask in order to help make up their own minds about this bill?

So who knows if it is ACORN or legitimate voters who do not like the bill? You know ACORN will profit greatly if the bill is passed. They are experts in disrupting meetings. So don't jump to conclusions so fast.

They could get the same message if you were able to point out multiple concerns followed by crowd applause verus just a few followed by a chant from some.

Listening goes both ways. There are legitimate ways to debunk misinformation. Like citing data from credible sources. And there are credible sources out there that can be used to challenge this proposed legislation. Why not point that out to the Congressman, rather than try to shout him down and call him names? Why do you defend people who are trying to shut-down communication, instead of advocating more communication?
Still don't get it eh? ahhhhh I guess you never will.

Would you like me to repeat it?" can, if nothing else, bring the Congressman to a better response, or draw audience attention to the fact that he's avoiding an answer. The shouting is a turn-off, not just of the Congressmen who is being stopped from speaking. It also turns-off the audience and any empathy that might be generated. Do you really want the audience withdrawing as well as the elected officials?
And you really think these liars will actually respond with the truth? You actually think they will take ANY concerns back to the White House to have these issues addressed in the BIll? You're crazy if you think that.

If they fear for their jobs, yes.

That's exactly what happened in 1993, when the Dems tried to nationalize the Health Care industry that time.

And it worked.
