Believe it or not, I think it's great. It's not the path that I would choose because I wouldn't want to constantly feel a need to suppress my feelings - that's a stressful way to live - but for some, their religion or faith may override their sexual attractions and emotions. For them, I think it could be an excellent way to handle the "problem".
To me, the most important thing is that they're denouncing the "change therapy" that clearly doesn't work. It's much healthier to tell people, "Your attractions can't be changed, but the way you deal with them
can."
