Seems both sides are choosing who they want and don't want to watch or read anymore.
Oprah can't sell as many magazines as she use to since she endorsed Obama. They recently had an offer of 5 free magazines on the internet. She is hurting for readers, not sure what her TV show is doing in the ratings. Would not surprise me if her ratings have dropped off.
Then AARP just had 40,000 people drop out of their program when they seemed to be supporting Obama health care.
FOX does seem to be holding their own though with top rated shows and viewership.

Apparently you have no ideal what it is to be biracial. In this country there are very few places that will accept you as you are he is too dark to pass as white and still be accepted and in some circles he is too light to be considered "black enough". All he did was embrace the part of him that the majority of Americans see him as...Black. This has no real bearing as to who he is due to his upbringing by his mother and grandmother who by the way happen to be White. For him to truely reject his mother's side is like trying to reject the fact that he is left handed. No matter how hard that you try to write with your right hand you still are left handed

I do know how one is treated if you are not of the majority and the need to be accepted by ones peers. I don't doubt what you read but the interpertation might be taken out of context.

No, it was not out of context. Obama stated flat out that he rejected the white side of his family.
I was referring to his book so that is obviously the past tense is it not?
