You left out some salient points, though. Like the difficulty in flying from Kenya to Honolulu in 1961, and whether an aircraft would actually let her fly with a newborn. It would have been about 27 hours in-flight time, with several connections. Absolute agony for a newborn who would have difficulty adjusting to the air pressure changes. And absolute agony for the plane's passengers, as well.
