I also am like this. The trouble is I can't convey my reasoning, or it just does not seem to be getting through to me Conservative friends. I would just like to know, how exactly do you go about explaining your reasoning for being one of the few Intellectual pro-lifers?
I know how I explain it to my pro choice friends when I vote Republican, its not the most important thing on my agenda. There may be other pressing issues that you are concerned about.
The right to choose isn't going away, No matter who is in office. John Roberts has even said he will follow precedent if a case comes in front of the court. I strongly doubt that a supermajority of Republicans will get in the Senate as well, as this would be what it would really take to pass a law, outlawing abortion. That and the fact that some Republicans are actually prochoice.
