I read this sentence recently. It was written by a person who worked in that atmosphere. To me it seemed like a pretty strong statement. Is it accurate?
Yeah..those wall street folks were, and I say were, pretty high flying but then again the money was flowing as well. Haven't heard too much about them since the bailouts.

Didn't you see the movie? Yes it is accurate. Although they do have nice holiday events to raise funds for poor children every year but even that is measured by who gave how much!

Sure, it's unbiased, but then it's up to you to decide how important that measurement is. For some people, it means a lot; for others, it means little.

After I thought about this for a bit, I really don't think it is unbiased. I mean, don't a lot of people have pretty high-up connections (or go to elite boarding schools) to get into Harvard Business School, or Wharton, or wherever, to get that fancy job at Goldman Sachs in the first place? I'm not saying ALL Ivy Leaguers use nepotism, but some do, and then get out and earn huge salaries on Wall Street.

Here's a few things that contradict your statement:
- Thieves that never got caught (Las Vegas was built by the mafia)
- Drug traffickers that have never got caught (Soccer is known around the World as a industry to laundry money)
- Land distribution (socialism) in the 19th century stealing land from Native Americans (making them poor) and giving land ONLY to white people (making them rich)
- Racism in the US until a couple of decades ago that forbid black people from being succesful/wealthy even if they were smarter than Einstein.
I can give you more examples that that statement is wrong.

I'd change "teaches" to "thinks".
