Disagrees with public option: says costs will be difficult to track and contain. Thinks Obama's making too many compromises. But single-payer--like Medicare--is practically seamless and extremely cost-effective. A single-payer system, he says, would save billions of dollars currently spent on administrative costs, and virtually pay for itself. And says the charges that it's "socialist" is ridiculous, because--just like with Medicare--the patient chooses his/her own private doctor at his/her own private clinic/hospital of choice.
Nothing but lies, lies, lies by some to push their propaganda. Sad really and very un-American.
Well, he did say that Obama's public health option won't work. But not because it's too radical, but because it's not radical enough. "Radical" in the true sense of that word, not in the politically inflammatory sense. Obama left single-payer off the table in part because the nutty right-wing was screaming "socialism!".

Exactly and that's very different than Sunny-Days' representation that the doctor's issue was all about cost and by implication the feasibility of universal health care itself.
She obviously puts a lot of stock in what the good doctor has to say, so I'm assuming that she'll be pro-Medicare for Everyone.
All that's missing is the photo op and the doctor receiving the bag with the big dollar sign on it.
