I still laugh at the episode of MASH when Frank Burns said he hid his real financial papers in the freezer in a chuck roast. Jefferson may be a crook and a crooked politician but he must be a fun kind of paranoid kook.

The sad thing is, this is very, very unlikely to be the first time he has taken bribes. Louisiana politics has been a sewer for decades.

Democrat Representative William Jefferson wasn't just convicted of bribery. He was also convicted of racketeering and money laundering - 11 of 16 counts.

He is just anothyer example of politicans that are crooks in a long of histoical ones of this type. Politcs draws as many as anyhting else ;its just easier for them to do.Its a;lways best to remmeber that individuals do this and its not the political party they belong to.
