Even if global warming is real, it will affect all Navy's the same... their ships will continue to float but their current docks may be underwater. IMO, a much more real threat to National Security is our dependence on foreign oil, which the head of NSA has long since called a threat to us.
A thought; there are several large areas of the world that ARE below sea level, like Death Valley and IIRC a large area of Somalia and/or Ethiopia. Perhaps we could let fresh or salt water fill these basins and help keep the sea level in stasis. Imagine that, NEW waterfront property!
