I like the one that saids "Stop making a profit!"

Ok for the rich to get tax breaks, not ok for the middle class.

Does that make any sense?

Interesting material on that link. People have definately been hard at work creating this political art. I wonder, how many users on this forum have ever actually read "1984" or "Animal Farm" So many seem so clueless as to exactly what we are talking about when we use the term "big brother" or "thought crime". Reading is powerful people, and the words of George Orwell were prophetic of a coming time in history. That time seems to be shaping up now, and there are signs all around to confirm this possibility. If you haven't read "1984" you really should. Then, come back and tell us how different the book was from the things we are seeing now. I think you will see that in a very real way, we are slowly going down the path of Oceania!

PS. Also, if you can find it, read a copy of the Communist Manifesto. It pretty accurately details the plans of communist powers to infiltrate the political offices of our democratic country with communist sympathizers in an effort to "communize" the United States and the rest of the world. We have seen many officials come and go who undoubtedly held communist ideals. And many programs and future plans currently being discussed for our country can find their roots in communism. Don't be a part of changing our great nation into something it was never meant to be.

Under Obama, only the uber wealthy may make money. Communism and Corporate Fascism allows for this as the elite class (in this case, the bankers) to make huge bonuses, along with government officials. Small business owners are punished by overregulation stifling their ability to grow, as it is extremely costly to satisfy said regulations.

The average American believes whatever tripe he/she sees on television rathr than using their own minds and utilizing the faculty of critical thinking. Literature of Utopia gone bad--"1984," "Animal Farm," "Atlas Shrugged," etc isn't even on the canon of required reading in school anymore. Communist Manifesto? Are you kidding? People take their freedoms for granted. My family fled from Communist Russia. They could not even practice their religion openly, and any religious items (icons, Bibles, crosses etc) were hidden. People gathered underground. People spoke outside because they knew the govt was listening. Most of these people don't have a clue. The Russians didn't think it could happen to them either. The German people didn't believe their Govt had concentration camps. This stuff happens in stages, gradually, so people don't notice, until one day, they do. Ignorance is NOT bliss. Ignorance is ignorance and it's hurtful to liberty.

And the truth shall set you free! That is exactly what happens. Those seeking control know they cannot come at you all at once with their plans to usurp your freedom. We would rebel and they would suffer a major setback in their plans. But, if they can slowly change things, a piece at a time, to conform to their ultimate goal of how they want things to be, the people will be much more likely to accept it. Having never realized the change was happening, we one day awake to realize things just aren't the way we remember them being when we were younger. And eventually, we find ourselves wondering if things had ever been different, or if it was just a dream we had.

In my short time here on this earth, living in this country, I have seen massive change take place in the amount of liberty and freedom we possess. To those who can't really see, everything is the same. But for those who can see around the illusion, the world is a much more oppressive place. You think just because you can still drive your car to the mall, or get a takeout cheeseburger, you are free. Well, I say that depends on what level of freedom you are happy with. If all you wish for yourself is the ability to undertake superficial tasks in life, then this world is just right for you. But if you want complete freedom, you probably feel just as trapped as I do right now. But all is not lost, because out of great oppression there always comes a time when the people break under the strain, and push back the usurpers of liberty. It has happened time and time again throughout history, and it will happen again. The only question is, when will the people truly wake up, and how far will we have to travel to come back around full circle.

Don't forget to add Lord of the Flies and Brave New World to the reading list. If people don't want to actually read these wonderful literatures, perhaps the movie versions of Brave New World, and 1984 might help.. and while you're watching those, check out GATTACA.

I was quite flabergasted on just how ignorant and arrogant politicians and people have become. When we say that politicians are supposed to serve society, we don't mean like this. They're supposed to be working for us... not the other way around.

Frankly, if people want to make fun of politicians and policies, then they should have all rights to do so.

Yes. This is why you cook a frog by putting it in water and slowly turning up the heat rather than putting it into a pot of boiling water.
