No. There were laws. But, it was probably before you were born.
I shot and killed the ... "Individual" as he was pointing a gun at my wifes head -
Now, do you want to make fun of this?
Well, you were fortunate that the person did not have time to shoot his gun, or that his gun didn't "go off" as you shot at him. I still think that something as sensational as shooting an intruder in the head twice and killing him would have made the national news.

First off - it happened over 30 years ago. There was not as much local issues that hit the national news.
Yes - I was lucky - my wife and child survived. If I had not killed him - my wife and probably my son would have died.
What would you do under similiar circumstances? Would you take the shot?
Do you carry a firearm? Do you even have any firearms?
Is it really that serious?
Those of you who oppose reforming health care or are against the Democratic plan, do you think it's appropriate to bring guns to town halls?
Is it illegal in that city or town to cary a firearm into a town hall meeting?
I also read in the article that "union members' participating in the meeting have received death threads." Are you aware that a non-union member, and black American and conservative was bitten at one of those meetings by supposedly union members?

From Austin's point of view, watch his wife and child die then call the police and feel good that he didn't have to pull the trigger... Good thing that your family is safe.
My reality check is realizing that a police officers are not around every corner, and the seconds you waste hoping that cop makes it in time is not something I will rely on.
As much as I hate to say it Greatday, but he has been non-stop trolling. One of the main things I've noticed is, don't argue with an idiot, it'll only bring you down to their level.
I am STILL waiting for a reliable source to this story.
You wouldn't have been waiting if you'd read the article posted:

Nope! I do not read ANYTHING from that website they are disgusting!
As for this article it says NOTHING about the gun being left behind as some have said on this thread, it says it fell out. If the person has a permit to carry I don't see the problem.
