If 500 people watch a program that says 2+2=5, and 300 people watch a program that says 2+2=4 ... does that make the one more people watch correct? Or does it just mean more people watched it?

Fox news has been killing unbiased news for a decade.

I remember in college channel surfing and caught 3 news channels running the same story, and then Fox. All the stories were about a college football riot the night before, the other channels had people in the neighborhood (families and student renters) cleaning up and talking about the drunk idiots and getting along well. Fox had the story about how it was "nearly a war zone" between the college renters and families, and had all of the same people talking at the camera but very carefully edited to seem like everyone didn't like each other. Since they were the same people and questions from other channels you could see how they edited out it of chronological order and cut out parts of sentences.

And? Do you work for them or something? Fox News is pure entertainment. I was watching it myself earlier today.

Why are so many conservatives invested in the ratings of Fox News? There's always thread to update us on the latest ratings. If you think that the numbers say it all, then Obama must be a quality president because he was elected by the majority. And I know you don't think that, so see how your "logic" about Fox News falls flat.

Are you trying to undermine the OP's inference that popularity determines correctness?

I think it is more that the other channels campaigned for Obama 24/7 and we now are encouraged that they realize how they have been had and are turning to another channel. So an increase in Fox viewers means less popularity for Obama. Yea!

They "Jerry Springer-ize" the news. And apparently that's what people like.
