So you and Greatday are possibly legislative interpreting partners?
Still with the playbook? Demonizing people, who do not agree with you. ? Well...I don't know Great Day...I am partners with no one on this site or any other. I am an 81 year old retired government worker who has always maintained an avid interest in government affairs and served in that area for 35 years both full time and part time. In private industry I was an administrative bookkeeper to a company president and remain interested in the survival of private industry....for my grandchildren and great grand children's sake.
Stop the insults....a thousand page bill filled with legalese is bad for your health....What would I do with the uninsured and the free care that illegals get no questions asked? Our hospital emergency room is filled with huge families...illegal aliens who demand interpreters and service...I have seen it and the huge population that invaded our small town has virtually ruined our health care system...they are now bringing their relatives here for treatment. When I asked one how his relative got here....he said..."oh, she walk across." Come on we can't help the poor of the entire world....who are demanding the best of services....absolutely free....30 million of them!!!!
National i.d. health cards for illegals.... (the undocumented change their names every day and are now bringing their relatives over the border). My dear friend, a nephrologist gave up his work in a Florida clinic because he said almost every dialysis machine was being used by the illegals...while Americans waited for treatment.
The remaining population of uninsured, if under 65 would be placed on Medicaid and those over 65 would be on Medicare. Those are two already established government run health care systems...They need fixing that is true but they don't need a third competitor. Now let's have a discourse without the insults......
One last piece of advice before you start with the accusations again...the managers of this site know our names and addresses. They know that I don't know Great Day. So be careful...don't ruin your comments with foolishness.

So what is a good number of pages, for such legislation?
Did you know that the Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act passed in 2003 is 416 pages?
1.2 trillion is the estimated cost for that legislation. http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/PLAW-10...108publ173.pdf
Would you prefer 6 pages, like when Paulson requested $700 billion from congress last year?

Thats actually a good analogy. Don't forget that Bush didn't pay a dime of that Part D. It all went to the deficit.
