OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE.

Thought for the day8/11/2009

CHANGE
I was talking to my brother today, and he brought up a good point. It's hard not to vote for an incumbent senator or congressman, when all the Democrats and Republicans offer us to vote on, is their incumbent cronies.

Why do you think they do that?
So that they can keep the ball in their court, they know that, that person will follow their party's line.

Every politician uses the same line in every election (Change, I can do it better) and we fall for it.

Well---If “WE”, really want change, then “WE”, as FREE THINKING AMERICANS need to suck it up and step out of our comfort zone, break from the life time of conditioning, that our politicians, family, Friends and the media have brought us to follow.

There are other political party's out there. But WE, never give them a chance, WE, are so wrapped up in being loyal to the political parties that we have been conditioned (through out our lives) to believe are our saviors, that we don't even give any other political parties or candidates a chance.

Well--- maybe it's time,--- to take the time,---- to find out who ells is running, take the time to call, or send an e-mail, ask them for their thoughts and ideas. Stop taking the easy way, and only listening to what the TV and News paper's tells us is out there.

We have given so much power and control to the Republicans, Democrats and the media that they only give us the information that they want us to have, and we allow them to get away with it. WHY?
We follow, and listen, to the people around us, and never step outside of our comfort zone, to take a look at what ells might be out there. Well---- I think it is time that we do just that.

If we really do want CHANGE, then we have to start with the political parties, and open the door for real change, not just a different face connected to the same party, that in the end, is only going to play along the same party lines, and the same game as the last guy.

Come on let’s do it, let’s make real change not just a new face. Shake the tree. Vote for someone other than a Republican or Democrat

OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE,
NOT!!!! OF THE POLITICIANS BY THE POLITICIANS FOR THE POLITICIANS
Thank You
Stephen Thomsen

Well, here's my thought for the day and I've said it before. After 18 years in politics I'm of the opinion that you'll never get rich betting on the collective knowledge or memory of the American electorate.
