rude yes.
but we didn't see the preface to this scene did we? curious.
& weird how the woman talking was almost crying at the end about how she's getting divorced and is unemployed and will need to find her own healthcare solution....
god forbid there are more options...

Have you ever visited your state legislature? That is SOP on both sides of the aisle. Not right, but the done thing.

Let the excuses come. She works for us , She works for that lady that was asking her a question but instead she thought taking a phone call was more important

No excuses, it was terribly rude.

But let's not pretend that it's "democrats", plural. It was one democrat. One.

She's no worst then staged protesters preventing regular citizens from questioning their representative by disrupting the meetings. OP sees no problems with that though.

At initial glance, it is rude but all you see is a snippet. Not what took place before or after.

To make a true judgement on the situation, the whole thing needs to be shown.

Yeah, of course it's rude. Just like it's rude to yap on your phone while you're at a check out, at dinner, out w/a friend, etc. etc. Bet you've done all of those before. But one question: was the question FOR that woman as you claim?

That can be excused if it was an emergency. If not, it was totally unprofessional and out of line.
