OR NOT, just a bump in the road or a fashion statement. This is not what others think of you..................http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Independent_(voter)
The earliest concept of the independent was one whose political choices, by definition, were made based on issues and candidates (since the voter did not have a party affiliation). But early studies of voting behavior conclusively demonstrated that self-identified independent voters were less interested in specific elections than partisan voters, poorly informed about issues and candidates, and less active politically. In fact, a contrary view emerged: The independent usually voted on the basis of deeply ingrained beliefs, attitudes and loyalties, and was more like the strongly partisan voter than any other voter (or the idealized "independent").
Might want to brush up on being informed!!!!
Arianna Huffington, America’s undecided voters, she says on The Huffington Post, are a fickle crowd!!!
I don't think I would like to be called fickle and I'm a girl!!!
Mary Scully: Marxism, Centrism, and Sectarianism..................We on the other hand believe that without democratic centralism there’ll be no revolutionary party in this country and with no revolutionary party there’ll be no socialist revolution.
I would NOT like to have my party affiliated with Marxism, Communism. How can this be for the PEOPLE!!!!![/quote]

The Tyranny of the Centrists | The American Prospect
So just what does it mean to be a "centrist"? To people who don't care much about politics, it may just seem like centrists are a third team between the right and the left, doing their best to advance their own interests, just as everyone else does. But if you believe political beliefs matter, and that politics is where our competing visions of the world come to fruition or are defeated, then centrism is the most cynical ideology of all, one utterly devoid of substance.
That isn't to say that one has to be a conservative or a progressive to be principled. Libertarians are among the most politically principled people you'll ever encounter, and their views don't line up neatly on the left-right axis that defines much of our politics. But unlike libertarianism -- or conservatism, or progressivism -- centrism defines itself not by fundamental principles or a particular view of the way the world works, but simply by what other people are thinking. The centrist isn't sure what he believes until you tell him what the left and the right believe. Only then does he know where he should put himself.
And that's what we saw during the final negotiations over the stimulus bill. What mattered most to the centrists was not producing a bill that would create the most jobs, do the most to help the economy recover, or give the wisest investments for future growth. What mattered was whether they were in control, whether they had made the administration and Democrats in Congress squirm, whether everyone knew that if the bill was to pass, they would have to be appeased. It was all about them.
Welcome to the WORLD it's not all about you and what YOU want, we are America. When you vote, it should be for the good of your COUNTRY, not whats good for YOU!!!!
I rather think for myself, stand for something and I don't need anybody to tell me how to think. I know and people around me know where I stand, how about you????

Wow, ad hominems and non sequitures.
I guess you win.
BTW, how about we compare all Democrats to Fred Phelps, and All Republicans to Neal Horsely and David Duke, since we appear to be generalizing so much?

Right on. I may not have voted for him or agree with him on some issues but he is the President of MY country. I think alot of us are very loyal to our country in that way, where we fight with each other but if some one comes in here and starts bad mouthing us we attack like a junk yard dog. Don't mess around with my President, and I'm a conservative so you know I have guns.

What your NOT SEEING is this is a Democrat view, a liberal view, and Republican view of an independent voter. Not just one party ripping your agenda!!! You are being called out by all sides.
I didn't need you to confirm a win..............it was already obvious!!!!

I think the real issue is those of you who hated President Bush, are some how fine with President Obama caring on the same polices and worse.
I see people sticking up for what they hated in President Bush, this just doesn't make sense.
Even if McCain had won, I would have excepted him to make a CHANGE for the people, not CHANGE America.
We seem to have gone off on I like him (Obama), so it doesn't matter what he does, those that voted for President Obama, need to hold him responsible for the CHANGES that he makes. Not bury your head in the sand and act like this is all just okay to CHANGE America into a country we will not even know.

Who Really sounds more like David Duke
I have to ask who really sounds more like David Duke?????
David Duke......... Israel is an American Problem!!!
Jimmy Carter........................President Carter unfairly damages Israel's worldwide image when he resorts to distortions and falsehoods about her actions. He damages any realistic prospects for reviving the peace process when he ignores the deeply dysfunctional nature of Hamas ideology and policies. But perhaps the most tragic outcome of his charges is the damage it does to his own reputation and legacy.
President Obama..................Israelis: Obama does not support us!!
Most Israelis feel that US President Barack Obama is reversing his nation's traditional strong support of the Jewish state, and replacing it with policies that favor Israel's antagonists.
A survey of Israelis conducted earlier this month revealed that a mere 12 percent of Israel's believe Obama supports Israel. Forty percent said Obama's current peace policies clearly favor the Palestinians.
Nancy Pelosi............... Forget about the 2-state solution — get ready for the ’side by side’ solution
We've always known that Netanyahu doesn't support a Palestinian state. But now we're forced to ask – does Pelosi?

If you call that a win, I'd LOVE to play poker with you sometime.
Bring lots of cash to loose... erm, play with.
You pretend to know my "agenda", and cherrypick negative propeganda from the Big Two parties, people who feel threatened by a third party and have worked diligently to keep a third party from becoming viable.
I'm afraid it is YOU who have missed a very important fact. NONE of what you posted reflects me or my beliefs.
So, when shall we get togwether for poker? I could use a new car.
