Georgia Senator Johnny Isakson (R):

"I just had a phone call where someone said Sarah Palin's web site had talked about the House bill having death panels on it where people would be euthanized. How someone could take an end of life directive or a living will as that is nuts."

Nuts seldom know they are nuts, unfortunately. But it is nice that a socially conservative Republican senator came out and said what he said in order to try and help them. But the crazy cocoon is just too comfy for the death-panel nuts.

*Deafening Silence*

As usual.

Doesn't matter. They'll just move on to the next looney conspiracy theory. It's not about the "truth," you know.

I never said it had this in it but it does not change the fact that this plan sucks!

It turns out they were for it before they were against it. GOP officials John Boehner, Thaddeus McCotter, Johnny Isakson, and Chuck Grassley all voted in 2003 for a measure very similar to the one in the current House health care bill they now suggest in various ways could lead to government-encouraged euthanasia.

Why do the republican leaders hate Americans; why do they love insurance companies? How can they be so hypocritical and still live with themselves?
