Yes, in North Cakalaky!
Yes, and most of the people doing that research don't come from North Carolina.

"Yes, in North Cakalaky!"

If I'm not mistaken, Obama won North Carolina.

First, there is no such thing as "universal vehicle insurance." I just want to make that point first off because you have a tendency to imagine things, like "peace and prosperity" while Clinton was President.

Second, state vehicle insurance is not mandatory for everyone, like ObamaCare. Only those who drive vehicles on state roads are required to have vehicle insurance. If you do not drive, you are not required to own vehicle insurance. No one will have that choice with ObamaCare.

If you drive, you are required to have vehicle insurance. No matter what road you are driving on. You don't consider that to be stripping drivers of their "freedoms"?

EVERYONE will have a choice of health care provider under the health care reform bill.

Will they have a choice not to pay the tax increases the public option would require if they opt for a private plan?

No, they will not have that choice. Just like I didn't have a choice about how my taxes were spent implementing the Patriot Act. Were you crying then, too? When our freedoms were REALLY being taken away?

In any case, your health insurance premiums cost MUCH more now than they will when a government-funded health plan is in effect, so in all probability you will be paying less, overall.

No, and if you should choose not to buy into the socialist government single-payer plan, the IRS will fine you 7% of your taxable income and automatically enroll you into the socialist government single-payer plan.

Unlike vehicle insurance, which you can choose not to buy if you do not drive, the socialist government single-payer plan is mandatory. No freedom of choice provided. And when the ObamaCare bureaucrats tells granny that she has to suck it up and get government assisted suicide, she won't have any freedom of choice either.

Ooooh, so sorry. Not interested. Thanks. Why would someone want to pay obligatory taxes for others on a plan and pay for a private plan on top of that?

Maybe one could convince me if congress pledged to be on the same program. Oh darn, only 75 republicans and 0 democrats took that pledge.

There is no "single-payer plan."

There is no "socialist government."

If you seriously believe this crap about granny being forced to commit suicide, you must be one of those "normal" American folks another posters was talking about.

No normal human being in his/her right mind would be sucked into this Republican Fear Chamber From Hell. Seriously, people: Are you kidding me???
