Are you saying that people are required to do what the police say? Or that they "ought to" just for their own safety?

I don't want to live in a society were people follow whatever the police say, regardless of legality.

Default Soccer mom with minivan tasered

Mom in minivan tasered twice in Salina traffic stop; camera captures deputy's rough roadside arrest (VIDEO) - syracuse.com

You know, this cop is potentially endangering the lives of his comrades by doing this.

I hope that piece of **** is charged with assault with a deadly weapon. This is exactly why we need citizen militias. We can not even trust the police to do their jobs correctly.

Civilian militias
The video make me angry. But I trust the professional police more than I trust regular citizens running around with guns.

Why? The police beat and harass innocent civilians, never seen the militia do that. A militia is usually members of a community that they live in, they are more likely to take care of their neighbors and family members.Running around with weapons? I think you have a distorted view of Militias. The 2nd ammendment gurantees the right to bear arms.

Are we supposed to be more outraged because this woman represents "us" rather than "them"? This type of stuff has been happening to poor minority communities for generations. Why the sudden outrage and call for militias?

Why haven't your militias been scouring inner cities in the name of protecting innocent citizens?

I think this is the same story.....

This made news when it was a new story, but she wasnt characterised as a "mom in minivan" back then. She was vilified for swearing and resisting the efforts of an earnest, flustered young policeman to help her get herself under control -- she stepped out of womanly character and got what she deserved.

If it's the same story.

Like I said militias are usually a community of people or people from within a community. I can not help "minorities" do not have the sense of community to take care of it.
