I dunno, just seems embarrassing listen to all these experts opine whats best for me all the while telling lies and incomplete truths....
I am more than happy not to use them, it doesnt take a brain surgeon to understand the problem is paying for them. Oh and by the way if Obama was interested in (Reform) it would already be done.

Default Is the real problem American stupidity?

Probably!

Now that Walter Cronkite has passed on, who is America's most trusted newscaster?

Katie Couric 7%
Charlie Gibson 19%
Brian Williams 29%
Jon Stewart 44%

Can you read? I said twice already that they are free to speak. I said twice already they are free to disagree. But if you can't read or listen to what others say, how can anything you say hold as any kind of truth? If you can't listen to what others say, no wonder you buy into only what the screamers are saying; they've succeeded in making you into one of them, if you were not that way already.

I tend to trust the blue dog Democrats, but wonder how they're being influenced by Pelosi and/or Reid, or if they even are. I wonder how many people are frustrated that there is nothing out there other than opinion, and can really only rely on their own judgment in voicing their opinions and concerns at this point in time. Things need to slow down and calm down.
If people would listen to Obama's answers to questions that have posed to him, they would have a better idea about his health plan. He is the one who understands the plan and can explain it best. But his responses are not the ones many people are listening to. They are listening to the alarmists who take what Obama says and turn them into things he never said, and the people succumb to these scare tactics.

It possibly would be easier to do that if Administrations before him had kept their promises. They all say what they want to say to get the votes and then go back on what they say. It's not the scare tactics of others--it's our own Administration and Congress. Take for example Obama's comment that no one is going to take away the private option. Okay--I believe him. Then Barney Frank is filmed saying the real goal is single payer. Which is it? It's also logical to hear others in Congress state that the employers offering private insurance will opt to pay the lower taxes thereby pushing everyone into UHC unless they buy their own insurance. As an employer, I would probably do the same thing. Trust and statements that fly in the face of logic are the problem. But I'm watching and waiting. Thanks for your comments.

I have listened to his answers and I have listened several times
he speaks in circles and he is very general, it has been proved that he is misleading and has downright lied.
I do not listen to the "alarmists" on the far right any more that I listen to the ones
that are so far to the left, they are just as much alarmists as the ones you complain about.
Obama has used fear many times to whip the people, and he is using it now with health care.
I don't even take him with a grain of salt, I do not take him at all,
I have no respect for him or his loopy ideas.

The difference is that his so-called "fear" is what actually is happening and we should be fearful that it could continue. After all, look at the state we're in, i.e. people suffering, going bankrupt, all because of our lousy health care system. You don't have to take him or respect him; in the end, you will lose out.

Aylalou. If this is the case then why is it that support for this healthcare bill is actually taking a popular nosedive. All the while Obama is out there explaining the bill.
