When a poll comes out that had obama being very popular you were all over it.

Wonder how many of those people were left wing wacko mobsters?

Of course based on your information and the failure obama has been shows who is totally misinformed right?

If you voted for Obama not only are you totally out of it, but you are easily fooled and are totally misinformed.

Thanks for double checking and making sure that Obama voters have caused this mess for voting in a total idiot.

Follow the leaders, ooopp there is no leader in the WH as not one of them are on the same page on any issue.

Talk about misinformed voters, they are called liberal mobsters.

It should be 100% believe the stimulus is not working as we ALL know it has been an utter failure period.

Default Unemployment rising dramatically

Unemployment is forecast to steadily increase to over 11% by the end of the year.
U.S. Unemployment Rate Forecast

However the REAL unemployment rate (if you look behind the sugar coated numbers put out by the government) is at 12.2%, the highest it has been in 15 years. This number is up 33% over the past 12 months. And it is rising.
The Real Unemployment Rate | The Wall Street Examiner

Now, if you read the U-6 Report (issued by the United States Department of Labor-- Bureau of Labor Statistics) you learned the real rate of unemployment is 16.8 percent versus 10.3 percent in June 2008.

It may be all the unemployed, and the informed, who believe stimulus is not working.

we have shifted to being a consumer nation and now we are just borrowing, not producing, and there is quite a difference.
Ummm... so we agree. Government spending pulled us out of the Depression.

Good.

as long as it is properly directed Government spending will turn around an economic downturn. Spending in pork ridden BS does not help the economy long term. Putting money back in people's pockets via tax credits and such does.

The homebuyer tax credit worked. the cash for clunkers worked...

More of this is needed. Less of stupid political "stimulus bills".

We were talking about World War II, but I agree with your overall point. If this stimulus money would actually get out, I think there's a strong value in rebuilding infrastructure and expanding rail transportation options. Some of the stimulus was excess waste, for sure.

I don't disagree, but your comment about expanding rail transportation triggered the thought that Amtrak has done so well, why not?

welcome to burger king may i take your order, is next when UIB is gone.
we will never know if it stopped a free fall. what we do know is that we have rising unemployment (higher numbers again today), failing commercial real estate, increasing home foreclosures, and INCREASED DEBT to pay for this so-called "stimulus".

the so-called good news is that wall street is doing temporarily well, with no accountability and no mechanism in place to stop another free fall!

Funny, 0bama and Biden say it is working as intended. Apparently they intended to stimulate the economy with 5% of the money in 7 months, add to our debt and deficit, was intended to lose about 3 million jobs and create 9.5% unemployment. Wish we would have known all this before we were told we needed to rush it into law.
