House Democrats are probing the nation’s largest ]insurance companies for lavish spending, demanding reams of compensation data and schedules of retreats and conferences.
Letters sent to 52 insurance companies by Democratic leaders demand extensive documents for an
examination of ‘extensive compensation and other business practices in the health insurance industry.” The letters set a deadline of Sept. 14 for the documents.

I agree with this! It needs to be fully investigated and shown the light of day. How these evil companies spend on lavish parties and give their CEOs millions and millions while issuing denial after denial to pay for their policy holders that get sick. We need to see just how evil they really are!
These insurance companies are out there hopping up every gullible person without a care
about what that does to the United States or the democratic process. Their tactics are
un-American and they are leaches on our country.
We don't need or want the added layer of health insurance companies. They will go the
way of the old "fire insurance" companies who you paid in order to have a fire crew come
to your building and put out the fire. Just as we recognized the police and the fire services
as public goods, we will eventually see health care. We already treat ER visits that way, it is
just paid for by the insured.
That's the unstoppable progression. The insurance companies know that and they are fighting
like cornered rabid skunks.

You know what's un-American? The U. S. Congress trampling the 4th Amendment rights of these businesses.

This is comical considering the politician is the most corrupt occupation known to mankind. I think we voters should demand the same from the politicians, lobbyist, friends of DC, everyone associated with the politics of corruption and the corruption of politics. Let's see how far we get.

Democrats in Congress are idiots! The American public trusts Congress less than they trust Insurance Companies.
(Do you think Waxman will be smart enough not to bring up private jets?)
This will be seen for exactly what it is - a witch hunt.
People may not trust Congress but when it comes to pure EVIL nothing can touch an insurance company.
