God in Government: Obama Turns to Religious Community on Health-Care Reform - On Faith at washingtonpost.com

Quote:
Earlier in the day, Obama held a private call with 1,000 rabbis (if you can call that "private"), to brief them on health-care reform in preparation for their sermons on the High Holy Days next month.
Where are the calls for separation of church and state? Cries to keep your religion out of my politics (or politics out of my religion)? This is taking it too far IMO.

I don't want to tell my Rabbi what I need to do with MY health care...Religion has nothing to do with politics and should be kept separate.

Obama showed his skills when sitting in a hate preaching church for over 20 years....so he is the last one who should even talk and tell Rabbi's what to say!!! JMO.

The left wingers that assult all things Christian are full of hypocrocy and will hold their tongues while their messiah panders to the believers in God.

Obama pulls religion, race...whenever it is comvenient to him. Why doesn't he get rid of Axelrod with his involvement with a company and still receiving 2 million from the company he used to work for...what about the CEO salary issue Obama is "so called" against...

Maybe Obama should start to fire Axelrod!

Unreal, the desperation is flowing now!

This is the same guy that accused people who live in rural America of "clinging to guns and religion". Now he begs for their help.

I wonder if he can sell them on taking away charitable deductions too?
