ACORN Director Pleads Guilty
http://www.judicialwatch.org/blog/20...-pleads-guilty

Last Updated: Fri, 08/21/2009 - 5:07pm
A high-ranking official at the taxpayer-funded leftist group that conducts fraudulent voter registration drives has pleaded guilty to conspiracy for organizing a scheme that illegally paid workers to register new voters.

As a Nevada field director for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), Christopher Edwards paid canvassers—many of them “lazy crack heads”—to register new voters for the 2008 presidential election. He also set illegal quotas of at least 20 voters a day for canvassers to keep their job and offered an additional $5 for registering 21 or more.

This happened a couple of days ago - I was wondering when someone was going to post about it. It'll be interesting to see how the ACORN nuts defend his plea...

They don't have to do anything. Obama got elected.

ACORN???? Caught up in a scandal???? Couldn't be!!! Isn't this the group that singlehandedly got the almighty elected (with a lot of help from the "neutral" media)!! If it was the heritage foundation that was caught up in a scandal I'm sure it would have been posted and plastered everywhere for a month.......

Didn't Obama also want these very same people to do the Census? Anyone knows what is going on there? Its obvious now that Obama is as corrupt as past Presidents... Change? I wish we had change the culture of corruption in the government... that would of been my number one priority... you can't fix anything, if the system is corrupt... Obama is no different but then I wasn't surprise, I suspected it already... how easy it is to corrupt people... liberals most of all...

Same minor problem. The guy who set up the incentive plan, against the direction of his superiors, has pleaded guilty to two misdemeanors. It's another case of an individual doing something he shouldn't have done. But it didn't cause a single case of voter fraud. He'll do some community service and pay a small fine. That's the end of it.

It's no different than the individuals who turned in bogus registration cards. ACORN flagged them as suspicious and sent them to the state for investigation.

You people and your infatuation with ACORN - it's really pathetic.

Depends. Did you consider this minor or major?

Very amusing to see that people are still blaming ACORN for having lost the election. Talk about being completely out of touch!
