That may it too, either way, Americans are sick and tired of democrat politicians referring to them as terrorists, thugs and Nazis, simply because they voice their opinions in these town hall meetings.

We are talking about average people, who are not as elegant or gracious a public speaker as a professional politician. Emotions run high when you are talking to some of the most powerful people in the country, and many people are so over emotional and pumped up. They are talking to power, and the media cameras are their too, and are nervous because they are unaccustomed to public speaking, so they may shout out their sentiments and opinions.

Please document how much government was shrunk under 20th/21st century Republican administrations. And do tell about the fiscal conservatism of GWB.

If a terrorist is one who uses fear to sway people towards a certain political philosophy, then this guy was accurate.
Anyway, why are the Libs so scared of a few angry senior citizens speaking out at a town hall? Could it be because they are influencing the masses against the slam dunk the folks in the White House thought they could get away with for Govt run health care?
Only now, are they coming to see that a tweeking of the current system would be better than further bankrupting the country with their original plan.

I think it's entirely possible that the Republicans comeback with be because they will stand up to protect the baby boomers from losing their benefits and being sent out on an ice flow to die.

One speaker said he could trace his ancestors back to the Mayflower and said “they did not arrive holding their hands out for help.”
“I am a proud right wing terrorist,” he declared to cheers.
Herger praised the man’s attitude.
“Amen, God bless you,” Herger said with a broad smile. “There is a great American.”

Can't wait to see how you guys defend this one.

Let me get this straight...

A guy in the crowd thinks we should go back to slavery days and Republican Congressman Wally Herger agrees with him ??

As a concern African American , this troubles me.

Hey, the guy called himself a terrorist. How do we know he was being sarcastic, ironic, or whatever? It's just like making jokes about hijacking a plane. You just don't do it!

Its funny that our homeland security put out notices that sent the whackos on the left into a frenzy calling right wingers terrorist, yet the White House they support will not even support using the term terrorists when speaking of actual terrorists who blow civilians up.

I'm thinking the same thing. If anyone claims to be a terrorist in an emotionally charged atmosphere, downplaying it as sarcasm isn't a great idea.

Even worse is that a congressman could prop up this individual as a "great American".

Unreal that some see that guy (or the Congressman) as a hero of some sort. Maybe they don't realize that it doesn't really make a good impression on most Americans when a Congressman admires and compliments someone who calls himself a terrorist, especially in a public setting.
