I'm not convinced right-wingers know what a ship even is, and they seem to be more than a little confused over this whole concept of water as well...

While I am not a supporter of the bailout and any of the forms of economic recovery by this administration (cut government costs and allow capitalism to weed out the weak companies, plus open up trade with cuba and legalize and tax drugs), I do support the war in Afghanistan because it actually serves a purpose. Iraq is a pointless war, it's not a terrorist state run by a criminal gang. Afghanistan is ruled by the Taliban who directly financed Al-Qaeda and provided a safe-haven for terrorists. Why anyone would have a problem retaliating against those who actually attacked us is beyond me. Didn't any of you read the 9/11 Commission Report? Clearly the reason why rational people prefer Iraq to Afghanistan is because Iraq was a war that was started through lies and manipulation of fear, Afghanistan was a necessary war.
I also think we need to pull our 50,000 troops out of GERMANY because it's a massive waste of money. I served in the Navy, but even I believe that one of the most hidden forms of socialism is the Standing Military. Why do we need so many millions of troops? Can't we just have the elite troops training when we're not at war? I know what most Surface ships do, they cruise around, doing drills, never seeing a minute of action until the 4 year term is up. That costs us an average of about $150,000 for those 4 years of Navy duty per person. It really serves no purpose other than to create meaningless jobs at the cost of the taxpayer, which is pretty much a perfect example of Socialism. It's the same in most of the other branches of the military. We probably spend about $20,000,000,000/year on salaries/training for members of the armed forces who never see a second of action.

What else can they do? Their savior has run up a deficit almost ten times that of the one they railed at Bush about, he will double the debt in ten years. Utter, complete, total disaster. Yet, they can't admit they have been snookered and bamboozled, like the rest of those who voted for obama.
Maybe in a decade or so we can look back and say, WTF were we thinking - to elect as POTUS and experienced no nothing that never ran anything in his whole life. He is an excellent bullsh*tter, though.

No spending spree is ever "noble and good," but almost 1 Trillion of this spending spree saved us from a complete great depression, so for now, you should be thanking your lucky stars. However, it is a huge disappointment to hear them revise their numbers lower, but Consumer spending jumped this month and so did home prices month over month, so the overall economy is improving. I do not understand how any American regardless of their political affiliation could be against a recovery in the economy, that is the single most ignorant and dumb argument you could make as an American. Who the hell in their right mind sits at home and says, "I hope i never have to work, so I will never make money again!"
